Abstract
CIRCUITO DE PRé-DISTORçãO DE TRANSMISOR E MéTODO PARA ISTO. Apresente invenção refere-se a transmissor de comunicações digital (100) que inclui uma seção de pré-distorção linear e não-linear digital (200,1800,2800) para compensação de uma distorção linear e não-linear introduzida pelos componentes de transmissor analógicos (120). (120). A direct digital downconversion section (300) generates a complex return data stream (254) from analog components (120) without introducing a quadrature imbalance. The relatively low resolution outputted by the return data stream 254 is effectively increased by arithmetic processing. The distortion introduced by an analog-to-digital converter (304) can be compensated for using a variety of adaptive techniques. Linear distortion is compensated by using adaptive techniques with an equalizer (246) positioned in the forward data stream (112). Nonlinear distortion is then compensated by using adaptive techniques with a plurality of equalizers (226) that filter a plurality of orthogonal higher order base functions (214) generated from the forward data stream (112). Filtered base functions are combined together and subtracted from the forward data stream (112).
