Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE INSPEçãO INTERNA DE TUBO ASCENDENTE E MéTODOS PARA UTILIZAR O MESMO". Descreve-se um aparelho de inspeção que inclui uma unidade de inspeção a qual é abaixada até um tubo, sustentado verticalmente, enchido com água do mar. O aparelho inclui um módulo detector de localização da solda do tubo transportado pela unidade de inspeção. O aparelho adicionalmente inclui um módulo de difração de tempo de percurso (TOFD) e um módulo de espessura de parede não giratório transportado pela unidade de inspeção. O módulo inclui um par de transdutores de inspeção de volume de solda montados de modo a poderem girar, capazes de serem girar pelo operador, adaptados para inspeção e para obter dados sobre defeitos no volume da solda. O módulo TOFD tem um transportador de fluido posicionado dentro do módulo TOFD e contém um fluído acústico. O módulo de espessura de parede não giratório adicionalmente contém um líquido acústico e inclui uma pluralidade de transdutores de inspeção de parede montados de maneira fixa adaptados para obter dados sobre a espessura de parede de uma parte do tubo.
