Abstract
"MáQUINA DE VOLUTA HORIZONTAL DUPLA". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema compressor que possui um par de compressores localizados em um invólucro comum. Um eixo de acionamento comum aciona ambos os compressores, e o eixo de acionamento é energizado por um único motor. Um ou ambos os compressores pode(m) ser equipado(s) com um sistema de controle de capacidade modulada pela largura de pulso e com um sistema de injeção de vapor. Quando um compressor é equipado com estes sistemas, a capacidade pode ser variada entre 50% e 110%. Quando ambos os compressores são equipados com estes sistemas, a capacidade pode ser variada entre 0% e 120%. Quando opera no modo de capacidade reduzida, um elemento de impulsão posiciona a voluta não-orbitante e um anel antiempuxo posiciona a voluta orbitante para reduzir o ruído produzido durante a operação do compressor.
