Abstract

"VASO METALúRGICO E INSTALAçãO DE REDUçãO DIRETA". Um vaso metalúrgico dotado de uma seção extrema superior cilíndrica (21) e uma seção de topo (22) fixada à extremidade superior da seção (21) para formar um fechamento superior do vaso em torno de uma abertura central (24) através da qual se estende uma lança de injeção de gás para injetar gás dentro do vaso. A seção de topo (22) é formada como uma construção hemisférica de duas partes que compreende um painel anular externo (71) soldado à seção de topo de vaso (21) e um painel anular interno (72) preso de forma removível ao painel externo (71), sendo os dois painéis formados com curvatura internamente cóncava de maneira a formarem em conjunto a seção de topo abaulada continuamente (22). Os dois painéis (71, 72) são presos entre si por meio de pernos de fixação (79) que se estendem através de flanges virados para fora (76, 77) formados em flanges anulares que se estendem para cima a partir dos painéis (71, 72). Ao se soltarem os pernos (79) o painel (72) é removível para permitir acesso ao interior do vaso.
