Abstract

CABO óPTICO PARA COMUNICAçãO, E, MICROMóDULO BLOQUEADO EM RELAçãO à PROPAGAçãO DE áGUA é descrito um cabo óptico (5, 105) para comunicação, compreendendo pelo menos um micromódulo (1), o dito micromódulo sendo bloqueado em relação à propagação de água. O pelo menos um micromódulo (1) compreende pelo menos uma fibra óptica (2), um elemento de retenção e um componente de enchimento tixotrópico (4) arranjado dentro do elemento de retenção (3). De acordo com a invenção, o composto de enchimento (4) é tixotrópico, tem uma viscosidade maior ou igual a 700 Pa-s a uma taxa de cisalhamento zero e a uma primeira temperatura de 20 <198>C, um módulo de perda G" menor ou igual a 3.000 MPa a 1 Hz e a uma segunda temperatura de -45 <198>C, e é compatível com o dito elemento de retenção.
