Abstract

MéTODO E CONJUNTO DE COBERTURA PARA COBRIR UM OBJETO ALONGADO E CONJUNTO DE JUNçãO PARA CABOS ELéTRICOS. A presente invenção trata de um processo para cobrir um objeto alongado (11, 12), particularmente um cabo elétrico ou um tubo. O processo compreende as etapas de: a) proporcionar um conjunto de cobertura (40) que compreende: 1) um elemento de cobertura elástico tubular (26) tendo pelo menos uma extremidade que é dobrada para definir pelo menos uma parte dobrada para trás ((32) e pelo menos uma parte dobrada para frente (33); um primeiro elemento de suporte (31) que é disposto radialmente interno ao elemento de cobertura e que mantém o elemento de cobertura em uma condição radialmente estirada, e 3) um segundo elemento de suporte (36) que é coaxialmente disposto em tomo do primeiro elemento de suporte mantendo a dita parte dobrada para frente do elemento de cobertura elástico tubular em uma condição radialmente estirada; b) aplicar o conjunto de cobertura coaxialmente com o objeto alongado e radialmente externo ao mesmo; c) remover o primeiro elemento de suporte para permitir que a luva gradualmente entre em colapso sobre o objeto alongado; e d) remover o segundo elemento de suporte para permitir que a dita parte dobrada para trás e a dita parte dobrada para frente gradualmente entrem em colapso sobre o objeto alongado.
