Abstract

MéTODO DE CULTIVO DE VARIEDADES DE COLÈNIAS DE CULTURAS E USO DO MéTODO DE CULTIVO DE VARIEDADES DE COLõNIAS DE CULTURAS A presente invenção refere-se ao cultivo de espécies vegetais cultivadas. Ela é especificamente apropriada para o cultivo de variedades de colónias ou de cultivares de plantas autopolinizantes e de polinização cruzada freqüentes. Um grupo fêmea é hidridizado com um grupo macho para produzir variedades de colónias. O grupo fêmea é produzido tal como segue: Os pares de plantas parentais com características desejadas diferentes são hidridizados para produzir F~ 1~, e os pares de F~ 1~ são então dibridizados para produzir uma população de segregação. As plantas individuais nesta população de segregação ou em seus descendentes autocruzados nas gerações de segregação anteriores constituirão o grupo fêmea. o grupo macho consiste em linhagens de cultivo homozigótico, variedades, ou em plantas heterozigóticas nas gerações de segregação ou em plantas individuais que são produzidas de uma maneira similar á produção do grupo fêmea. o processo de cultivo de variedades de colónias inclui cinco fases: hidridização, autocruzamento para estabilização, caracterização, classificação de agrupamento e formação de uma colónia. As variedades de colónias também possuem características de uniformidade, estabilidade e peculiaridade das variedades convencionais. os fazendeiros podem reservar as suas sementes para o plantio seguinte, e as empresas de sementes podem explorar um desenvolvimento adicional com base nas sementes conservadasemestoque. As variedades de colónias têm boa capacidade de adaptação, rendimento elevado e forte resistência a pragas e a doenças. O cultivo de variedades de colónias tem menos suporte na experiência dos reprodutores e desse modo até mesmo os fazendeiros podem fazer o cultivo.Além disso, onze casos de cultivo de variedades de colónias em várias espécies vegetais cultivadas e o seu desempenho na produção são citados em detalhes para fins de demonstração.
