Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA COLETAR E PROCESSAR SANGUE". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e aparelho para coletar e separar o sangue integral em um ou mais componentes. Um circuito de fluido de separação de sangue descartável (4) está provido o qual está adaptado para cooperar com um controlador de separação reutilizável. O circuito de fluido inclui um percurso de fluxo de fluido (6) para comunicação com uma fonte de sangue e uma câmara de coletamento inicial em comunicação de fluido com o percurso de fluxo de fluido. O percurso de fluxo de fluido está conectado a uma fonte de sangue, e uma quantidade de sangue integral é coletada da fonte no recipiente de coletamento inicial. A fonte é então desconectada do circuito de fluido descartável. O circuito de fluido descartável é montado em associação com o controlador reutilizável (2) e o sangue coletado é processado através do conjunto de circuito de fluido descartável para separá-lo nos componentes desejados.
