Abstract

"PROCESSO E USINA PARA REMOVER POLÈNIO E SEUS COMPOSTOS A PARTIR DE UM Pó QUE CONTéM METAIS VALIOSOS PROVENIENTE DE UMA INSTALAçãO DE REDUçãO E REFINO". A presente invenção proporciona um processo de lixiviação de pó de duas etapas. A primeira etapa inclui uma primeira lixiviação seguida por separação de sólidos/líquidos. A fase 'líquida' proveniente da separação de sólidos/líquidos tem uma concentração relativamente elevada de um metal valioso (tal como cobre) e uma concentração relativamente baixa na maior parte de polónio. A fase 'sólida' proveniente da separação de sólidos/líquidos contém metais valiosos (tais como cobre, ouro e prata) e polónio e tem uma concentração relativamente alta de polónio em comparação com a fase líquida. A fase 'sólida' é transferida para a segunda etapa. A segunda etapa inclui uma segunda lixiviação seguida por uma separação de sólidos/líquidos. A fase 'líquida' tem uma concentração relativamente alta de polónio e uma baixa concentração de metal valioso (tal como cobre). A fase 'sólida' contém metais valiosos (tais como cobre, ouro e prata) e polónio e tem uma concentração relativamente baixa de polónio. A fase líquida proveniente da primeira etapa e as fases sólida e líquida provenientes da segunda etapa podem ser usadas de uma maneira benéfica em outras etapas de processamento em uma instalação de redução e refino para recuperação de metais valiosos.
