Um elemento de se ança, tal como um fio, tira e similar, para documentos de segurança em geral, o qual compreende uma camada de suporte flexível (1) que tem, sobre pelo menos uma face, uma camada (2) de material metálico providos com regiões (3) em que a espessura do metal é menor do que 70% e maior do que 25% da espessura da camada de material metálico (2) das porções próximas, e também compreende uma camada (5) de verniz holográfico gravado em relevo entre a camada de suporte (1) e a camada (2) de material metálico.
