Abstract

SELO ESTáTICO A invenção está relacionada a um selo estático do tipo que compreende um suporte (3). De acordo com a invenção, uma camada de elastómero é depositada a frio sobre pelo menos uma das faces do suporte e é subseqüentemente conformada, com a formação opcional de roscas ou bordas (7), em um molde aquecido que também é usado para cura. O suporte é caracterizado pelo fato de que nem toda a superfície do mesmo está recoberta com o elastómero e as zonas não recobertas realizam uma função que não aquela de vedação.
