Abstract

"SUPRESSOR DE SOBRETENSÃO ELÉTRICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um supressor de sobretensão elétrica (1) compreendendo uma pilha (10) de uma pluralidade de blocos de varistores cilíndricos (10a), que são dispostos um após o outro na direção axial dos blocos varistores (10a) entre um eletrodo extremo superior (11) e um eletrodo extremo inferior (12). Distribuídos em torno da pilha existem elementos de aperto (15) de um material isolante compreendendo pelo menos três loops (15a) de fibra continuamente enrolada, que conectam o eletrodo extremo superior (11) com o eletrodo extremo inferior (12) assim como uma bandagem protetora anti-ruptura (16) na forma de uma pluralidade de anéis (16a) enrolados de fibra,e um invólucro externo, eletricamente isolante, circundante de borracha ou outro material polimérico. Os loops (18a) são enrolados de fibra de vidro e exibem uma seção transversal assimétrica (V, H).
