Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA CONTAR RECEPTORES DE CONTEúDO DE BROADCAST EM UMA REDE TELEFÈNICA SEM FIO". Uma estação base (110) em uma rede de comunicações sem fio (100) contas estações móveis (114) que recebem conteúdo de broadcast através de canal de múltiplos usuários. A estação base difunde (608) uma mensagem que se repete identificando pelo menos um fluxo de conteúdo de broadcast e, para cada fluxo, um indicador de REGISTRAR (R) ou NãO REGISTRAR (DNR) . As estações móveis reexaminam periodicamente (722) o conteúdo desta mensagem. Quando o indicador for R para um fluxo de conteúdo de broadcast, as estações móveis cujos usuários elegeram para recebê-lo enviam (714) para a estação base uma mensagem de registro para aquele fluxo.
