Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA RESOLUçãO DE NOME". De acordo com vários aspectos, a presente invenção se refere a acessar e publicar documentos entre dois sistemas ou nós de computador que são conectados um ao outro em um ambiente de rede. O sistema e método para resolução de nome armazenam um documento de informação de identidade contendo uma variável amigável significando identidade, tal como um endereço de e-mail, e um endereço de máquina, tal como um endereço IP, para o sistema de computador de publicação onde os documentos são armazenados. A seguir, o sistema e método interceptam uma solicitação inicial para acesso aos documentos quando a solicitação inicial inclui uma variável amigável e substituem a variável amigável pelo endereço de máquina, de modo que os usuários da rede podem acessar facilmente esses documentos através do conhecimento apenas da variável amigável.
