Abstract

"PROCESSOS DE IMPRESSãO A JATO DE TINTA". A invenção refere-se a métodos para compensar jatos de tinta falhados em um aparelho de jato de tinta. O método em modalidades determina se um ou mais jatos de tinta não estão funcionando ou falharam e substitui o um ou mais jatos de tinta utilizando um ou mais jatos de tinta operacionais. Os jatos de tinta operacionais utilizados são jatos de tinta operacionais vizinhos, que substituem o um ou mais jatos de tinta falhados. O um ou mais jatos de tinta falhados são desabilitados onde uma passagem de imagem primária é realizada seguida por um ou mais passes de formação de imagem adicionais para substituir o um ou mais jatos de tinta desabilitados habilitando um ou mais jatos de tinta operacionais vizinhos. Os passes de formação de imagem adicionais podem ser um passe de formação de imagem de preenchimento à direita, um passe de formação de imagem de preenchimento à esquerda ou uma combinação de ambos.
