Abstract
"SENSOR DE PRESSãO DE PNEU PASSIVO E MéTODO". Um dispositivo de onda acústica de superfície inclui um transdutor de pressão micro-usinado para monitorar a pressão do pneu. O dispositivo é configurado tendo uma cavidade micro-usinada que é vedada com uma membrana condutiva flexível. Quando uma pressão de pneu externa equivalente à pressão da cavidade é detectada, a membrana faz contato com cristas no lado posterior do dispositivo de onda acústica de superfície. As cristas são eletricamente unidas em pontas condutivas do dispositivo. Quando a pressão detectada está correta, pontas selecionadas no dispositivo serão aterradas produzindo reflexões acústicas padronizadas para um sinal de RF de impulso. Quando a pressão externa do pneu é menor do que a pressão de referência da cavidade, um sinal refletido reduzido resulta para o receptor. O sensor pode adicionalmente ser construído de modo a se identificar por uma série única de pulso de identificação refletido.
