Abstract

"VáLVULA PARA HIDROCEFALIA AUTO-AJUSTáVEL". A presente invenção refere-se a uma válvula para hidrocefalia auto-ajustável que drena continuamente o fluido cerebrospinal a uma taxa a qual é proporcional à diferença de pressão média através da válvula. A válvula emprega um mecanismo de bola no cone que tem um elemento de polarização associado que é insensível às variações de pressão de alta freq³ência para regular a abertura do mecanismo de válvula. O elemento de polarização inclui foles flexíveis que tem uma tensão predeterminada.
