Abstract
"SOLDADOR DE ARCO ELéTRICO E MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR O PROCESSO DE SOLDAGEM DO SOLDADOR". A presente invenção refere-se a um soldador de arco elétrico para realizar um determinado processo de soldagem com uma forma de onda de corrente de pulsação de C.A feita entre um eletrodo e uma peça de trabalho, onde a forma de onda de corrente inclui um segmento positivo e um segmento negativo, com pelo menos um segmento incluindo uma corrente de pico e uma corrente residual. O soldador compreende: uma fonte de energia com um controlador tendo um processador digital incluindo um programa para calcular o fator de potência de tempo real da corrente de soldagem e uma voltagem de soldagem, onde o programa inclui um algoritmo calculado para a voltagem de soldagem rms, a corrente de soldagem rms e a potência média da dita fonte de potência; um circuito para multiplicar a corrente rms pelas voltagens rms para produzir um nível de potência rms; um circuito para dividir a potência média pela potência rms para criar um valor que representa o fator de potência de tempo real da dita fonte de energia e um circuito para ajustar a dita corrente residual para manter o dito fator de potência em um determinado nível que é manualmente ajustado para ajustar o calor da solda.
