Abstract

"PRODUTO DE LIGA DE ALUMÍNIO TENDO COMBINAÇÕES DE PROPRIEDADES MELHORADAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um produto liga tendo resistência à falha por fadiga melhorada, compreendendo cerca de, em peso percentual, 7,6 até cerca de 8,4% de zinco, cerca de 2,0 até cerca de 2,6% de cobre, cerca de 1,8 até cerca de 2,3% de magnésio, cerca de 0,088 até cerca de 0,25% de Zr, cerca de 0,01 até cerca de 0,09% de Fe, e cerca de 0,01 até cerca de 0,06% de Si, o saldo sendo substancialmente alumínio e elementos incidentais e impurezas. O produto liga, adequado para aplicações aeroespaciais, mostra resistência à falha por fadiga melhorada do que sua contraparte de tamanho, forma, espessura e têmpera similares.
