Abstract
"FACE DE EXTREMIDADE DE FIBRA óPTICA FUNDIDA E POLIDA, MóDULO OPTO ELETRôNICO E MéTODO PARA MANUFATURAR UMA LENTE NA EXTREMIDADE DE UMA FIBRA óPTICA". Uma configuração de face de extremidade de uma fibra óptica apresenta uma região tronco-cónica que pode ser produzida através de polimento da face de extremidade. Para produzir uma ponta arredondada ótima, no entanto, a fibra polia deverá ser polida. Para aumentar a eficiência de acoplamento, o ângulo de vértice da região tronco-cónica polida, deve ser agudo, preferivelmente entre 16 e 20 . Adicionalmente, para criar uma superfície de face de extremidade hiperbólica, uma região tronco-cónica intermediária deve ser preferivelmente polida antes de fundir a ponta. Esta preferivelmente deverá ter uma seção transversal circular.
