Abstract

Patente de Invenção"<B>"DISPOSITIVO E PROCESSO PARA O MONITORAMENTO DA ASMA"<D>. Dispositivo e processo para o monitoramento não-invasivo da asma e de outras doenças respiratórias. O processo inclui a coleta de condensado da respiração de um indivíduo, o teste do condensado para determinar seu nível de acidez ou concentração de amónio, e a avaliação destas propriedades para determinar a presença, a ausênci ou a condição de uma doença respiratória no indivíduo. O processo pode também incluir, antes da etapa de teste, a padronização das substâncias voláteis que podem estar presentes dentro do condensado em uma etapa de desgaseificação ou padronização do gás. O dispositivo inclui um aparelho com embocadura, configurado para receber a respiração de um indivíduo, um aparelho de condensação para condensar a respiração de um indivíduo e produzir um condensado, e um aparelho de coleta que apresenta uma câmara de coleta contendo um meio para testar o condensado para determinar suas propriedades químicas. O dispositivo pode também incluir um sistema para remover ou padronizar as substâncias voláteis que possam estar presentes dentro do condensado.
