<B>TRANSMISSãO DE DADOS EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE ESPECTRO ESPALHADO<D> Unidades remotas (113) com grandes quantidades de dados a transmitir serão dinamicamente designadas códigos OVSF (Fator de Espalhamento de Variável Ortogonal) que correspondem a velocidades de dados mais altas e as unidades remotas (113) com quantidades mais baixas de dados a serem transmitidos serão designadas códigos OVSF que correspondem a velocidades de dados mais baixas. Adicionalmente, em uma versão alternativa da presente invenção, quando a interferência do sistema tornar-se maior do que um limite predeterminado, a velocidade de dados entre a estação base (100) e as unidades remotas (113) em comunicação com a estação base (100) é reduzida.
