Abstract

''SISTEMAS DE SEGURANçA PARA COIBIR O FURTO DE MERCADORIAS DE LOJAS DE VENDA A VAREJO'' Um sistema de registro de saída para uma loja de venda à varejo é apresentado, compreendendo uma leitora de código de barras (10) e um desativador de etiqueta antifurto (14). A leitora de código de barras produz um sinal depois de um código de barras de um artigo ser lido com sucesso pela leitora. Este sinal é usado para habilitar o desativador por um período de tempo predeterminado, após o qual o desativador é desabilitado até a próxima leitura bem sucedida do código de barras. Isto minimiza a possibilidade de um caixa ser capaz de desativar a etiqueta anti-furto em um artigo sem ter lido o código de barras do artigo e, em conseq³ência, sem ter entrado a venda. O sistema pode ainda incluir uma micro chave para a detecção do fechamento e da abertura da gaveta de dinheiro. Se a gaveta for deixada aberta, mas os códigos de barras são lidos pela leitora de código de barra, isto poderá indicar a possibilidade de mercadorias serem levadas da loja por meio fraudulento.
