Abstract
<B>"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA SUPRESSãO DE RUìDO EM UM SINAL DE ENTRADA QUE TRANSPORTA UMA COMBINAçãO DE RUìDO DE VOZ"<D>. Ruído é suprimido em um sinal de entrada que transporta uma combinação de ruído e voz. O sinal de entrada é dividido em blocos de sinais, os quais são processados para proporcionar um cálculo de um espectro de banda perceptual a curto prazo do sinal de entrada. Uma determinação é feita em vários pontos no tempo quanto a se o sinal de entrada está transportando ruído apenas ou uma combinação de ruído e voz. Quando o sinal de entrada está transportando ruído apenas, o espectro de banda perceptual a curto prazo estimado, correspondente, do sinal de entrada é usado para atualizar um cálculo de um espectro de banda perceptual a longo prazo do ruído.
