Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PROPORCIONAR FLUTUABILIDADE PARA UMA COLUNA MONTANTE MARìTIMA, E, COLUNA MONTANTE MARìTIMA COM FLUTUABILIDADE VARIáVEL". Uma coluna montante marítima de flutuabilidade variável (10) e um processo de assegurar e regular a flutuabilidade para uma coluna montante deste tipo. A coluna montante (10) é constituída de um conduto montante principal (11) sobre o qual uma pluralidade de latas (20) é afixada. Uma massa semifluida de material particulado flutuante (31), por exemplo, pequenas esferas ocas (30), é bombeada para o interior das altas para deslocar a água do mar do seu interior e conferir flutuabilidade à coluna montante. Quando é desejado reduzir a flutuabilidade da coluna montante, as esferas (30) são removidas meramente abrindo as latas (20) e permitir que a água do mar circundante desloque as esferas das latas (20).
