Um sistema e processo são descritos para realizar a Compensação de Erro Estático em máquinas-ferramenta controladas numericamente. O processo compreende as etapas de: conectar um dispositivo de medida a laser (5)a uma máquina-ferramenta controlada numericamente (1); enviar, automaticamente, um ponto 0 da máquina (1) para o dispositivo a laser (5);enviar comandos para tirar pontos de medida da máquina (1)a partir do controle (3) para o dispositivo a laser (5); detectar, automaticamente, os pontos de medida e enviar dados consolidados a partir do dispositivo a laser (5) para o controle (3); produzir um modelo de erros estáticos da máquina (1); executar a Compensação de Erro Estático dependendo do modelo produzido.
