Abstract

"SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO COMPREENDENDO UM TERMINAL DE USUáRIO, E, PROCESSO DE TRANSMISSãO DE UM "COOKIE" EM UM SISTEMA" Em um sistema de transmissão um servidor próxi (66) é localizado entre um terminal de usuário (52) e um servidor (70). O servidor próxi tem meios de interceptar e armazenar "cookies" transmitidos a partir do servidor (70) para o terminal de usuário (52). Quando um servidor (70) é contactado por um terminal de usuário (52) e o servidor (70) transmitem um "cookie" para o terminal de usuário (52), o "cookie" é interceptado e armazenado no servidor próxi (66). A informação referente ao servidor remoto, por exemplo, seu URL e uma identificação que identifica o terminal de usuário (52) é armazenada juntamente com o "cookie". A próxima vez que o terminal de usuário (52) acessa o mesmo servidor (70) o servidor próxi (66) coincide o URL solicitado e a informação de identificação e dessa forma encontra o "cookie" armazenado. O "cookie" é então somado à mensagem de solicitação de forma que o servidor (70) seja acessado com uma cópia do "cookie" como desejado. Dessa forma os "cookies" não precisam ser armazenados no terminal de usuário (52), que podem ter uma memória pequena e que portanto não é adequado para o armazenamento de "cookies". Adicionalmente, quando o terminal de usuário (52) é um terminal móvel o "cookie" não é transmitido através de uma interface aérea, reduzindo dessa forma o risco de escuta de forma significativa.
