Abstract

"REDE CêNTRICA DE DADOS INTEGRADOS (IDCN)" Trata-se de uma rede de distribuição de ponto para vários pontos sem fio fixa para prover cobertura de comunicação total a uma série de assinantes, a qual inclui uma série de estações de base para prover acesso sem fio aos assinantes: cada estação de base tendo conectividade com cada outra em uma primeira camada de rede por meio de pelo menos um de vários comutadores IP e/ou ATM, chamados comutadores IDCN; cada comutador IDCN tendo conectividade com cada outro através de uma segunda camada da rede por meio de um anel de transporte, permitindo-se que um usuário se comunique diretamente com outro usuário na primeira camada de rede, ou fora da primeira camada de rede por meio de um dos comutadores IDCN. é apresentada uma rede cêntrica de dados integrados que integra serviços de voz, dados e vídeo em uma rede única, define serviços de usuário pelo usuário final apresentando suporte lógico personalizado para permitir que o usuário final desenvolve serviços e aplicações; e dota um serviço de grau de portadora com comunicação entre redes e serviços distribuídos.
