O processo de regulagem de um forno (1), compreendendo uma sucessão de câmaras C~ i~, câmaras de resfriamento (23), câmaras de cozimento (22) e câmaras de preaquecimento (21), cuja última, em cauda, é munida de canalizações de aspiração A~ j~ (210) dos gases de combustão (34), e compreendendo, no sentido transversal, uma sucessão de divisórias aquecedoras ocas Cl~ ij~ (3) de alvéolos Al~ ij~ (4), nos quais são empilhados os blocos carbonados a serem cozidos (40), essas divisórias ocas assegurando a circulação dos fluxos gasosos (33, 34), é caracterizado pelo fato de a vazão mássica DG~ j~ de cada um dos fluxos de fumaças de combustão G~ j~ (34) ser regulada, medindo essa vazão e a temperatura T~ j~, de maneira a reproduzir um valor convencional predeterminado o produto DG~ j~.(T~ j~-T~ a~).C~ g~, T~ j~ e T~ a~ sendo respectivamente a temperatura desse fluxo de fumaças de combustão G~ j~ e aquela do ar ambiente, e C~ g~ sendo o calor específico mássico das fumaças de combustão.
