Abstract
Processo melhorado de redução direta de óxidos metálicos num forno contínuo de soleira giratória, caracterizado pelo fato de serem depositadas duas ou várias camadas com teores em óxidos metálicos por camada aumentando em direção à superfície superior da carga e teores em carvão diminuindo em direção à superfície superior da carga, este carvão será preaquecido até uma temperatura na ordem de 200°C enquanto os óxidos metálicos serão preaquecidos até uma temperatura na ordem de 800°C. O forno sendo provido de um equipamento criando na superfície de carga sulcos triangulares, e nas primeira e segunda zonas do forno outros equipamentos complementares de ação dupla.
