Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>GENES DA BIOSSìNTESE DE RIBOFLAVINA A PARTIR DE PLANTAS E USOS DOS MESMOS''<D>. A presente invenção fornece genes da biossíntese de riboflavina de planta, incluindo um gene que codifica a subunidade ß do complexo de enzimas de sintase de riboflavina (sintase de lumazina) e um gene que codifica a enzima bifuncional ciclohidrolasell de GTP/ sintase de DHBP. Também divulgados são a preparação recombinante dessas enzimas da biossíntese de riboflavina em hospedeiros heterólogos, produtos químicos de triagem para atividade herbicida usando essas enzimas preparadas recombinantemente e o uso dos produtos químicos herbicidas assim identificados para suprimir o crescimento de vegetação indesejada. In addition, the present invention provides processes for the development of herbicidal tolerance in plants, plant tissues, plant seeds and plant cells using the riboflavin biosynthesis genes of the invention.
