Abstract

"MéTODO DE ANáLISE PARA ESPéCIES ESPECìFICAS DE CONFORMAçõES DE UMA PROTEìNA RELACIONADAS A VáRIAS DOENçAS". A metodologia de análise da invenção permite: (1) determinar se uma amostra contém uma conformação de uma proteína que seja associada com a doença e a concentração e quantidade desta, se presente; (2) determinar a quantidade de proteína relacionada à doença resistente à protease em uma amostra e, ao subtrair-se esta quantidade da quantidade total de uma proteína relacionada à doença presente, determinar a quantidade de proteína de doença sensível à protease na amostra e (3) determinar a espécie e tempo de incubação de uma proteína relacionada à doença por meio de (i) relacionar as quantidades relativas de proteína sensível e resistente à protease com espécies conhecidas para desta forma determinar a espécie e (ii) representar a concentração de proteína sensível à protease em um gráfico de tempo de incubação versus concentração de proteína sensível à protease para espécies conhecidas para predizer o tempo de incubação de uma espécie não-conhecida de proteína em uma amostra.
