Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"ARTICULAçãO ESFéRICA ASSENTADA EM BORRACHA COM GEOMETRIA DO MANCAL OTIMIZADA QUANTO à TENSãO"<D>. A invenção refere-se a uma articulação esférica assentada em borracha, com geometria de mancal otimizada quanto à tensão. Ela pretende modificar a geometria de mancal de uma articulação esférica apoiada de modo conhecido em um mancal de metal e borracha, de tal modo que fique assegurado um ângulo suficientemente grande de pivotamento para o perno de mancal e, ao mesmo tempo, a superfície do elastómero seja aumentada para elevar a sua durabilidade. Esse objetivo é alcançado na medida em que o ponto de rotação do mancal, o qual acha-se prolongado, em seu lado oposto ao perno de articulação projetado para fora do mancal, para além do raio da esfera de articulação, e o ponto de rotação do perno de articulação apoiado na parte interna apresentam um deslocamento um em relação ao outro na direção axial, sendo que a parte interna do mancal e a parte externa do mancal acham-se alargadas conicamente. Além disso, uma articulação esférica apoiada em borracha, de acordo com a invenção, apresenta, pelo menos sobre um lado da articulação esférica, no mínimo uma peça intercalada (18) com uma dureza Shore menor do que o elastómero (7), a qual acha-se inserida no elastómero (7).
