Patente de Invenção: "ACOPLAMENTO HIDRODINâMICO". A invenção se refere a um acoplamento hidrodinâmico com as seguintes peculiaridades: um rotor primário de pás (13) e um rotor secundário de pás (12) circundam uma câmara de trabalho (9) em forma de tora, que pode ser enchida com líquido de trabalho; com o rotor primário (13) gira uma concha de acoplamento (14), que envolve o lado externo do rotor secundário (12); com o rotor primário (13) giram uma primeira câmara de retardo (18) e uma segunda câmara de retardo (48), que se comunicam com a câmara de trabalho (9); pelo menos um canal de transbordo (29), disposto aproximadamente na região radialmente central da câmara de trabalho (9), liga a primeira câmara de retardo (18) com a câmara de trabalho (9); a segunda câmara de retardo é subdividida no sentido circunferencial em várias câmaras parciais através de várias talas (48.1). A invenção se caracteriza pelo fato de que estão previstas paredes de separação (49), que cobrem pelo menos parcialmente ou pela maior parte pelo menos algumas das câmaras parciais.
