Abstract
<B>MéTODO DE TESTAR RáDIOS DE TELEMETRIA EM ESTRADAS FéRREAS<D> Rádios de telemetria em estrada férrea são testados por um método automatizado para teste no local, de forma que somente aquelas unidades exigindo ajuste e manutenção são removidas. Um conjunto de teste de múltiplas funções é programado para automatizar o teste de rádios usados em um sistema de telemetria em conjunto com outro software de teste embutido nos dispositivos- hóspedes de telemetria. Os rádios contêm um transmissor e um receptor. Ambos são individualmente testados para verificar desempenho apropriado. O teste de sensibilidade do receptor do rádio é testado através de medições de taxa de erro de bits (BER) com um software de teste e um modulador BER dedicado. Uma mensagem conhecida de amplitude baixa compreendida de um padrão pseudo-aleatório curto continuamente repetido pelo modulador do conjunto de teste BER é demodulada pelo receptor do rádio. O software de teste processa os dados recebidos e conta o número de mensagens sem erro recebido durante um período específico. A sensibilidade do receptor é considerada aceitável se o número de mensagens corretas recebido for maior que um valor mínimo predeterminado. O desempenho do transmissor é testado medindo freq³ência de rádio (RF), freq³ência da portadora, freq³ência de modulação, potência de saída de RF e de desvio. O conjunto de teste é programado para automaticamente medir esses parâmetros, determinar se eles suprem as exigências mínimas, alertar o técnico sobre quando aprovar/reprovar e opcionalmente exibir dados do teste medidos para a utilização no reparo do rádio, se necessário, ou para propósitos estatísticos.
