Abstract

Patente de Invenção <B>"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA EXTINçãO DE FOGO"<D>. Processo para extinção de fogo, no qual uma mistura de gás e aerossol é alimentada em um espaço, inclui as etapas de: inflamação de uma composição pirotécnica, que garante um perfil de temperatura predeterminado durante a queima e uma composição predeterminada da mistura de gás e aerossol; oxidação completa dos produtos de combustão da combustão incompleta da composição pirotécnica, fazendo com que eles passem através de um leito de substâncias ativas cataliticamente, que é localizado na zona de temperatura máxima do perfil de temperatura da combustão da composição pirotécnica, com a temperatura permanecendo constante pela redistribuição do dito perfil; resfriamento dos produtos de combustão e oxidação completa deles por reação com substâncias tendo alta capacidade de absorção de calor, concorrentemente com a filtração dos produtos de combustão, de acordo com a composição da fase gasosa e do tamanho de partícula da fase de aerossol. Um aparelho para extinção de fogo, tendo um invólucro (1), que tem uma porta de descarga (2), uma câmara de combustão (3) que é acomodada no invólucro (1) e isolada termicamente das paredes do invólucro (1), uma composição pirotécnica (4) e um inflamador (5) que são recebidos na câmara de combustão, uma seção de resfriamento (9), e uma seção de oxidação catalítica completa (6) que tem um par de redes metálicas espaçadas (8a, 8b) entre as quais é colocada uma substância ativa cataliticamente e que é localizada a uma distância fixa da composição pirotécnica (4). Um dispositivo de compensação (10) é proporcionado para manter a distância fixa mencionada acima durante a queima da composição pirotécnica (4).
