Abstract

"SISTEMA PARA DERIVAR UM SINAL DE VìDEO DE RESOLUçãO REDUZIDA DECODIFICADO A PARTIR DE UM SINAL DE VìDEO DE ALTA DEFINIçãO CODIFICADO". Trata-se de um sistema para decodificar dados de imagem comprimidos na forma de blocos de pixels representando uma imagem de uma primeira resolução para proporcionar uma imagem de um segunda resolução reduzida que descomprime um bloco de pixel de imagem da primeira resolução. O sistema envolve selecionar (204) um subgrupo de coeficientes de domínio de freq³ência nos dados do bloco de pixel comprimido e processar os elementos (204, 205, 206, 208) do subgrupo de coeficientes para proporcionar os dados de pixel representando pixels compreendendo um subgrupo de pixel espacialmente distribuído no bloco de pixel na imagem de primeira resolução e exclui outros pixels do bloco de pixel. Os dados de pixel compreendendo os pixels espacialmente distribuídos é formatado (210) para proporcionar a imagem de segunda resolução reduzida.
