Patente de Invenção: <B>"APARELHO ELETRôNICO E PROCESSO PARA A IDENTIFICAçãO DE UM USUáRIO DESTE APARELHO"<D>. O aparelho possui sensores (SE) para a coleta de características biométricas BM (por exemplo, de impressões digitais) e um dispositivo de entrada para a entrada de dados de identificação AUTINF (por exemplo, PIN). Um dispositivo de processamento de dados (DE) do aparelho determina, a partir das características biométricas BM, informações de identificação FPAUTINF, que são verificadas pelo mesmo dispositivo de verificação PE como as informações de identificação AUTINF a darem entrada através do dispositivo de entrada EE. Em virtude disto, o aparelho EG pode ser usado por diferentes usuários e do mesmo modo, como os aparelhos sem sensores para características biométricas. As regras de identificação (por exemplo, para telefones móveis através de SIM-card) não precisam ser alteradas para possibilitar uma identificação com a ajuda de características biométricas.
