<B>SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA FACILITAR UMA TRANSFERêNCIA DE PELO MENOS UMA UNIDADE MóVEL EM UM SISTEMA DE TELECOMUNICAçãO<D> Um método e sistema para facilitar uma transferência de uma unidade móvel remota em um sistema 12 de comunicação que tem uma pluralidade de estações-base (16 e 22), emprega estações-base (16 e 22) ao longo de uma emenda (10) de áreas de cobertura que tem um subsistema (24) de transferência temporária colocado com conjunto (44) de circuitos de estação-base convencional para facilitar a transferência temporária. O subsistema (24) de transferência temporária inclui um transceptor (36) para gerar e receber o primeiro grupo de canais dedicados de transferência temporária que é um subconjunto ortogonalmente correlato de um segundo grupo separado de canais de tráfego codificados de espectro difuso, em que o subsistema de transferência temporária está sob controle do controlador (14) de estação-base de fonte. Os canais dedicados de transferência temporária são abribuídos a uma estação-base (16) de fonte especificada.
