''FLUIDO DE PERFURAçãO E MéTODO PARA PERFURAR UM POçO''. é descrito um aditivo estabilizante de xisto, baseado numa estrutura molecular tendo a formula geral (I), compreendendo um poliol contendo pelo menos um átomo de nitrogênio, preferivelmente derivado de uma diamina. O aditivo pode ser utilizado para fluido de perfuração à base de água (WBM) para facilitar o processo de perfuração através de xistos, particularmente em áreas sensíveis do ponto de vista de proteção ambiental.
