Abstract
"SISTEMA E PROCESSO PARA MANTER SINCRONIZAçãO DETEMPORIZAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE TRANSPORTE DE VíDEO DIGITAL, E, PROCESSO PARA TRANSPORTAR UMSINAL DE VìDEO, UM SINAL DE DADOS BIDIRECIONAIS, E UMCANAL TELEFôNICO". Um sistema e processo inéditos paramanter sincronização de temporização em uma rede de vídeodigital, em conjunto com um sistema de liberação de vídeo e dadosdigitais, toma possível a liberação de serviços de dadosbidirecionais de conteúdo de vídeo digital, como dados de Internet(14) e serviço telefônico antigo comum (POTS) para um usuárioterminal através de um canal de comunicações. O canal é,tipicamente, o par de fio de cobre que se estende entre umescritório central da companhia telefônica (100) e uma propriedaderesidencial (1300), ma pode ser qualquer meio de comunicaçãoque suporte a comunicação de dados bidirecionais de vídeo digitalcomprimidos, como dados da Internet, e POTS e, sem dúvida,pode ser uma conexão sem fio. O sistema de liberação de vídeo edados digitais capitaliza sobre um barramento, ou plano de fundode irradiação, criado pelo circuito contido no interior do escritóriocentral. O plano de fundo de irradiação possibilita uma pluralidadede dados de programa de vídeo ficar disponível para cada usuárioterminal, e permite uma pluralidade de usuários terminais acessaruma pluralidade de conteúdo de programação de vídeo sem anecessidade de liberar todo o conteúdo de programa para cadausuário. O sistema de liberação de vídeo e dados digitais empregaarquitetura inédita para sincronizar a temporização do sinal devídeo digital para assegurar que o programa de vídeo digitalrecebido seja de alta qualidade e que ele possa também seconformar com um padrão MPEG-2.
