<B>COMPOSIçãO TERMOPLáSTICA DE óXIDO DE POLIETILENO<D> é revelada uma composição termoplástica que compreende uma mistura não reagida de polímero de óxido de polietileno e um ácido multicarboxílico. Uma modalidade de tal composição termoplástica é uma mistura de polímero de óxido de polietileno e ácido adípico. A composição termoplástica é capaz de ser extrusada em fibras que possam ser formadas em estruturas não-tecidas que podem ser utilizadas em um produto absorvente descartável destinado à absorção de fluidos como fluidos corpóreos.
