"COMPOSTOS E MéTODOS PARA A DETECçãO EPREVENçãO DE INFECçãO POR T. CRUZI". Compostos eprocessos são providos para diagnóstico de infecção comTrypanosoma cruzi. Os compostos mostrados são polipeptídios, ouanticorpos para os mesmos, que contêm um ou mais epítopos deantígenos de T. cruzi. Os compostos são úteis em uma variedadede ensaios imuno para detecção de infecção de T. cruzi. Oscompostos polipeptídios ainda são úteis em vacinas ecomposições farmacêuticas para indução de imunidade protetoracontra doença de Chagas em indivíduos expostos a T. cruzi.
