Abstract
"ATUADOR óTICO INCLUINDO ISOLANTE E SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES óTICAS INCLUINDO O MESMO". Um atenuador ótico que usa um isolante (200), e um sistema de comunicações ótico que inclui o mesmo, são providos. O atenuador ótico controla a intensidade de um sinal ótico de entrada e inclui um isolante (200) que inclui um rotor Faraday no qual um ângulo de rotação de polarização varia dependendo da intensidade de um campo magnético aplicado, para troca do nível de isolamento de um sinal ótico de acordo com o ângulo de rotação de polarização e um sinal ótico atenuado de saída, um gerador de campo magnético (206) para geração de um campo magnético (206) para geração de um campo magnético cuja intensidade é controlada pela intensidade da corrente, e aplicação da corrente gerada. De acordo com isso, um núcleo magnético (204) e uma bobina (206) são instalados no isolante ótico (200), correntes a serem aplicadas à bobina são controladas para ajustar a intensidade de um campo magnético que é formado no isolante, e de acordo com isso o isolamento de um sinal ótico é controlado. Deste modo, o sinal ótico é atenuado. Portanto, o atenuador ótico é facilmente montado no sistema por causa de seu tamanho pequeno, e pode trocar o nível de atenuação pelo controle apenas da intensidade da corrente.
