Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO PARA A FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA, EM CARGA, DOS METAIS"<D>. Trata-se da regulagem da repartição linear da vazão de um fluido de cisalhamento injetado, em curso de fundição, por uma fenda (20) aberta na interface corpo metálico resfriado (1) - elevação refratária (14) de uma lingoteira de fundição contínua em carga dos metais e desembocando segundo o contorno interno dessa lingoteira, esat sendoprovida de meios de aperto para regular a espessura da fenda. De acordo com a invenção, essa regulagem consiste em injetar "a frio", através dessa fenda (20), um fluido inflamável de regulagem, que se inflama à sua saída da fenda, e pelo fato de se intervir sobre esses meios de aperto (25, 26, 28, 29), de maneira tal que a altura das chamas (39) que saem da fenda (20) seja sensivelmente constante segundo todo o perímetro interno da lingoteira. A invenção oferece a vantagem de uma regulagem precisa e durável da vazão injetada, sem ter de se ficar restrito à regulagem da espessura da fenda de injeção. Aplicação à fundição contínua, em carga, do aço, em particular.
