Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MATERIAIS E MéTODOS PARA O CONTROLE DE PRAGAS HOMóPTERAS"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a materiais e métodos para o controle de pragas não-mamíferas. Em modalidades específicas, a presente invenção refere-se a materiais e métodos utilizáveis no controle de insetos da ordem Homoptera. Mais especificamente, a presente invenção apresenta novos isolados, ou cepas, de Bacillus thuringiensis (B.t.), toxinas e genes que codificam toxina, que são utilizáveis para o controle de homópteros. As cepas HD969, PS66D3 e PS50C são aqui especificamente exemplificados como proporcionando mortalidade contra homópteros. Em uma modalidade preferida, as pragas alvo são selecionadas no grupo que consiste em cigarrinhas e gafanhotos.
