Such compounds are useful in the treatment of inflammatory diseases in a mammalian, for example, human patient, such as asthma, Alzheimer's disease, atherosclerosis, AIDS dementia, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, tissue transplantation, metastasis of myocardial tumor and scemia. The compounds are also administered for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the brain, such as multiple sclerosis.
