"PROCESSOS PARA PROTEGER UMA SUBSTÂNCIA AGRìCOLA CONTRA PESTES QUE SãO NOCIVAS PARA A SUBSTÂNCIA AGRìCOLA E PARA A PROTEçãO DE UMA SUBSTÂNCIA AGRìCOLA, E, COMPOSIçãO PROTETORA PARA SUBSTÂNCIAS AGRìCOLAS". Iodo molecular, ou uma composição ou complexo de iodo iónico que contém, gera, ou libera iodo molecular, é utilizado sozinho ou misturado com um veículo para uso como um protetor de plantas e safras. Ingredientes ativos secundários, fertilizantes, nutrientes, micronutrientes, promotores, poliaspartatos, biomassa, tensoativos, emulsificadores, óleos, ceras, sais, conservantes, herbicidas, fungicidas, nematicidas, inseticidas, fumigantes e iodetos são opcionalmente adicionados ao veículo para maior benefício da planta. O iodo molecular e o(s) aditivo(s) benéfico(s) desejado(s) é/são aplicados diretamente sobre as plantas e/ou safras com a finalidade de proteger as plantas e/ou as safras contra pestes, como fungos, nematóides, bactérias e insetos, que são nocivos para as plantas e/ou safras.
