Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"SINCRONIZADOR E MéTODO PARA ELE E SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES INCORPORANDO O MESMO"<D>. Usuários ou assinantes (36) de um sistema de comunicações síncrono de espectro espalhado provêm sinais para a estação central ou unidade de base (30) daquele sistema, e recebem sinais dele. é necessária sincronização apropriada entre aqueles usuários (e seus sinais) para garantir operação apropriada do sistema. Para garantir sincronização apropriada entre aqueles usuários, o sinal produzido por cada usuário é verificado para a presença e quantidade de qualquer erro de deslocamento. Isto é realizado usando três desespalhadores (42, 44 e 46) para o sinal de cada usuário. Para um tal usuário (36), cada um de tais desespalhadores para aquele usuário, recebe o código de espalhamento (50) para aquele usuário. No entanto, o código de espalhamento como recebido por qualquer um de tais desespalhadores é atrasado em tempo (52 e 54) com respeito ao código de espalhamento (50), como recebido pelos outros dois desespalhadores. Cada um de tais desespalhadores recebe o código de espalhamento com quantidades diferentes de atraso imposto sobre aquele código de espalhamento. As saídas dos três desespalhadores (42, 44 e 46) são combinadas digitalmente (66), ou comparadas, para produzir a estimativa de deslocamento para aquele usuário (70). Para reduzir efeitos de ruído, é realizada a média da estimativa de deslocamento por uma duração predeterminada de tempo, alternativamente, tal média pode ser realizada nas saídas dos desespalhadores, ou em alguma etapa de processamento intermediária. A estimativa de deslocamento é enviada para o usuário, para ser usada para corrigir a sincronização daquele usuário. Estimativas de deslocamento que são muito pequenas para serem úteis são silenciadas e não são assim enviadas para o usuário, para reduzir o uso do canal e desta forma economizar largura de banda.
