Abstract
Outros usos para a água iodada são como desinfetante, por exemplo, na indústria de processamento de alimentos; frutas, vegetais e particularmente, como gelo iodado para a conservação de peixes e seu derivados; desinfeção de água de torres de resfriamento comerciais e industriais, tratamento de esgotos e águas servidas; e como nutriente, sendo fonte de iodo para seres humanos, animais, peixes e plantas."PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BACTERIA-FREE WATER CONTAINING SPECIES OF IODINE, E, CONTAINER" Process and equipment for producing bacteria-free water by means of iodine species, intended for the consumption of animals on farms and produced with running water, dissolving solid iodine in a first flow of water to produce saturated solution of iodine species at a previously selected temperature; mixing the saturated solution with a second flow of water to produce a diluted solution of bacteria-free iodine species; and making the diluted solution available as drinking water for consumption by animals. Preferably, the iodine is dissolved in the first flow to produce a saturated solution of iodine species at a previously selected temperature and at a known concentration, which solution is then mixed with the main flow. The continuous flow of water containing iodine species is directed to a distribution network for drinking water for consumption by animals, with a reduced risk of contamination by bacteria along the network. Other uses for iodized water are as a disinfectant, for example, in the food processing industry; fruits, vegetables and particularly, like iodized ice for the conservation of fish and fish products; disinfection of water from commercial and industrial cooling towers, sewage and wastewater treatment; and as a nutrient, being a source of iodine for humans, animals, fish and plants.
